About JNTUH Academic Calendar

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University of Hyderabad has to maintain a lot more affiliated colleges along with its own Engineering College. It has laid out certain Curriculum Regulations so that the Uniformity is maintained by the different colleges in all regions of Telangana. So every year in order to make the students comfortable with the yearly happenings, JNTUH releases the Academic calendar for both the semesters together. This Academic calendar covers the information regarding the Exams, Labs, Midterm exams, Holidays, preparation, external labs, etc.

JNTUH B.Tech/ B.Pharm 4-1 R16 Syllabus & Subjects 2019

Students studying in different streams of Engineering (B.Tech) and  B.Pharm need to have an idea about the scheme of subjects and labs that they gonna study and perform in the first semester which is between July and December months of 2019. The curriculum includes Subjects, Professional Electives, Labs, Mini Projects, Industrial visits, etc. Professional Electives means the one related to the Engineering Stream that the student is related to the College or student need to choose these electives as provided by the JNTUH.

JNTUH 4-1 R16 Academic Calendar or Important Dates 2019:

All the students who started either B.Pharm or B.Tech in JNTUH from 2016-17 as their 1st year come under R16 Curriculum and it was the first year, R16 was introduced. Now, these students are in 4th year and their colleges started by 15th July 2019 with 22 weeks of College or Academic days for the first semester left. Students should know the important dates regarding the JNTUH B.Tech/ B.Pharm 4-1 Academic Calendar. Here are the few important dates discussed.

JNTUH B.Tech/ B.Pharm 4-1 Mid Term Exam Dates 2019

As per the Academic calendar, JNTUH has to conduct the written exams as Internal exams in the middle of the semester 2 times. The subjective part of these exams will be prepared by the College Faculty only whereas the objective paper part is sent by JNTUH. These exams are called Mid Term exams and these do occur in the months of September and November. Candidates can score good marks in these exams as the portion is limited. These marks add up in the final Marks memo.

Mid Exams Time Table for the year 2019-20:

B.Tech/ B.Pharm 1st Mid Exam dates: 12th to 14th September 2019

Colleges should submit 1st Mid Marks to JNTUH University by 20th September 2019

B.Tech/ B.Pharm 2nd Mid Term Exam dates: 14th to 16th November 2019

Colleges should submit 2nd Mid Marks to JNTUH University by 23rd November 2019

JNTUH B.Pharm/B.Tech 4-1 End Sem Exams/ Supply dates 2019:

To indicate the completion of every semester, students must undergo the exams that are conducted externally by the Examination branch of JNTUH. Students get the subject wise exam dates soon and these will be in the month of November-December 2019. Hall tickets will be provided by the colleges in which the student is studying and the Exam centers along with the dates will be printed on the hall tickets. Supply exams are for the students of R15, R13 whereas the Regular exams are for the Regulation R16.

Answer booklets are provided in the exam center where the candidates need to write the exam for 75 marks. These Answer booklets will be forwarded to the spot evaluation centers. After the completion of the evaluation, JNTUH Scrutinizers examine the marks and enter them in the online portal of JNTUH. www.jntuh.ac.in provides the Results in the month of January or February 2019 to the students of 4-1 both for regular and Supply exam written students.

Regulation Book for B.Tech/ B.Pharm R16:

As we are speaking about the Curriculum in every aspect, if the student is interested to know about the Credits and CGPA system adopted by JNTUH, candidates can go through the Regulation Book of R16. The student should secure at least 35% marks which are 26 marks out of 75 marks in the external semester-end exams and a minimum of 40% of marks in the sum total of the CIE (Continuous Internal Evaluation) and SEE (Semester End Examination) taken together to be said as Passed.
